Chalmers started all 82 games for the Heat and averaged 10 points, almost 5 assists, almost 2 steals and 2.8 rebounds in his rookie season.

In his third season, Chalmers would gain a new level of stardom as he was part of the Heat team that assembled the “Three Kings” – LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. The team would become one of the most scrutinized and covered teams in all of sports and Chalmers proved to be a capable point guard, in particular coming up with strong performances and big games in the playoff and 2011 NBA Finals, although the Heat would lose. He would continue to display his excellent defense and improved three point shooting in 2012 when the Heat won the NBA Title, with big games in Game 4 or both the Conference Finals and NBA Finals. He would also play an important role in the Heat’s second consecutive NBA Finals victory against San Antonio in 2013. Chalmers is not married but has two children.
